Looks like it could be a mixed pom. You will need to wait until he/she is older. Have you taken him/her to the vet? That is real important especially if the puppy is sick as the vendor told you. Never the less if the puppy is a mixed or pure bread...
Science Diet has a lot of corn. If you look at their label the first ingredient is Corn and or/corn meal. What ever food you choose just check the ingredients. The first ingredient is what there is the most of. I have been very successful with Nat...

Hi Cheryl,Re-Lucys cough,i have finally found what is wrong with her,as her cough got worse.I have spent a lot of money on Lucy with a specialist she spent a couple of days in a hospital and had a camera directed into her respiritory system and blood checks etc.I had positive results and she is on medication which has stopped her coughing and made such a difference to her wellbeing. If you respond i will give u and any other pom owners in this forum a full report as it is quite a lengthy report, and i suspect u and karen moody may have the same problem. Please reply as soon as possible as i would like to help any other Poms with this condition.
Hi Cheryl, sorry i forgot to say hello.Lucy has slowly got a little worse over the last couple of years with this persistent cough, although it does not seem to affect her general health.I did make some enquires with a very god breeder of Poms and he pointed out that many poms do suffer this problem for which he described as being of a genetic nature.I have found that with Lucy that taking her out in the fresh air and exercise, let her running freely without leash i.e.in the countryside really does improve her condition for a few or more days also on the beach.I am reluctant to do more with a vet as Poms can respond very bad to aneasthetic which would be required for exploratory reasons.
I completely agree! Bailey is the king of the house doing anything he wants including dominating the love seat because he can look out the window and bark at me when I leave or get home.
